Worship

i had a meeting with jim wood, the worship pastor at the vineyard church, for lunch today. we discussed the possibility of he and i both creating loops and cool background music for kids church worship. my team has vanished and become me, alone. i love leading kids in worship to god. they are so free spirited and excitable. the kids really enjoy the energy level that i have while jumping around and dancing with them.

most of the loops and stuff i make for worship teams i make using garageband on my laptop. i haven't had time to mess around on garageband since this past summer, due to school and other activities. i should get back into that. i really wish i would have thought about going into graphic design or something similar to that prior to my senior year at the u of i. but, god is going to use the skills that i have learned from persevering through four years of college. i have learned a lot about the way other people think and to understand their worldviews, but this didn't come from them. this came from a christian class i am taking on presuppositional ideology and worldviews. it's really great at explaining how to think, not what to think.
